Until the tables are turned…
One icy winter night, Judy, an operating room nurse, is called into work. She’s taken hostage by a crazed gunman with an agenda. Now with Judy’s life in danger and the SWAT team deployed elsewhere, Dave must face the same fear his wife does on a daily basis. Terrified he will lose her, he and his law enforcement family race to save Judy and stop her captor’s plans.
***** Five-star review*****
Seized, by Suzanne Ferrell, just blew me away. Although the book is a novella in the Edgar Family series, it packed a powerful punch. This novella was more intense than most full length romantic suspense books. The story kept the reader on the edge of their seat. The emotions and fear kept the reader glued to the story. The actual thought that this could happen any where, at any place, at any time.
Suzanne develops memorable characters. Whether you have read the previous books in the Edgar Family Series, you still know all of the secondary characters. The reader becomes instantly attached to Julia and Dave Edgars. We relate to their every day struggles with life and their marriage. Add an intense life or death situation and it changes their priorities. It takes them back to what made them a strong couple to begin with. It strengthens their relationship and family ties.
Suzanne builds more intrigue with the youngest member of the Edgar family. I hope Luke’s story will be soon.
I highly recommend this book. This novella is better than most four hundred page books. Be sure to read the series….fantastic!”
